Due to Covid and the local 4th of July parade being cancelled this past year, my kids and I decided to clean up the tractors and have our own parade around the farm that we live on with my parents.
We called Grandma (Mimi) and Grandpa (Pa) and told them to look out their window to see something special.
As we were driving along the “parade route” we looked across the road and the neighbors had come outside to wave us on with their flags as well!
Funny how a simple tractor drive can take your mind away from all the “stuff” of this world and back to a simpler time – I am thankful for that.
