Address: Ludington, Michigan, United States
Alway’s Implement Company was located on the Alway Farm near Ludington, Michigan and sold John Deere tractors and equipment. It was founded in 1966 by Tom Alway, left, and his son Richard. Tom died in 1973 and Richard continued the business until 1987. After the dealership closed, Richard continued to repair John Deere tractors for local farmers as Alway’s Service Center, a business that continues to this day. While Richard is still involved, at 78, his son, Rick, now owns the business. Richard and his three sons, Tom, Rick, and Rob, also continue to operate the family farm, which was founded in the late 1920s. Photo submitted by Rob Alway.
