When Tim Sweeney was a young man his father owned a 40 crawler. He remembers once remarking to his dad, “If we had a 60 crawler we’d really have something!” Well, Deere never built one but, but that didn’t stop Tim from building his own version years later. He then followed that up by building a 60 with mechanical front wheel drive. Here’s some video of both tractors doing a little tillage at last summer’s Half Century of Progress show.
